Fairfield Podiatry's Coronavirus (COVID-19) Risk Reduction Plan

While it's currently business as usual at Fairfield Podiatry, there is understandably a lot of concern in the community about the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Information from reputable health sources indicates that most people that contract the virus experience mild symptoms and recover without needing special treatment.

Elderly and immunocompromised people are more likely to become seriously ill.

If you're experiencing any of the symptoms below we would appreciate you calling the clinic on 9481 0639 to postpone your appointment until your doctor has given you the all-clear:

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Sore throat

  • Shortness of breath

  • Runny nose

We would also appreciate you postponing your appointment by two weeks if you've returned from anywhere overseas or been in contact with a person with a confirmed case of coronavirus in the past 14 days.

We all must take a common-sense approach to protect the most vulnerable people in our community. We are doing everything we can to make Fairfield Podiatry a clean and safe environment for everyone. You can find out more here.

You can find more information, including what you can do to protect yourself and prevent the spread of disease, on the World Health Organization (WHO) website.

This handout from the Australian Government Department of Health covers what you need to know about the coronavirus.

Panicking and stockpiling toilet paper definitely won't help!

Take care of yourself and your loved ones.

Thank you for your support!
